Who We Are
Fellowship began as a vision in 1968 when four acres of land was purchased in south Tulsa at 69th and Sheridan Road. In 1974, a call was issued for a Mission Developer to begin the process of establishing a church. Reverend Dan Breunsbach had just returned from serving as a missionary in Japan for fifteen years. Pastor Dan moved his family to Tulsa and in February, 1975 began a door-to-door survey to locate a propective congregation. On May 8, 1975, Pastor Dan and 66 people met at Grissom Elementary School where it continued to meet for the next several weeks. The church moved to a storefront at 61st and Sheridan and held Sunday services for the next 3 years. In May, 1978, ground was broken and a new sanctuary was built at 69th & Sheridan, the current location of Fellowship.
Several pastors have since led the congregation and helped them grow to our current facilities under the careful guidance of Pastor Alan Fox.
Fellowship is known for its friendly congregation and its empahsis on missions and service. The church offers many opportunities to serve and minister to both the local community and churches abroad. From newborns to Senior Adults, Fellowship offers programs for education, personal growth, and outreach to others. No matter your background or life experience, you are welcome at Fellowship.
